you discover that your wonderful one-year-old child is, because of a mix-up at the hospital, not yours. Would you want to exchange the child to correct the mistake?

I think everything happens for a reason and that there must be a reason that god did what he did for me to receive this child. In a way i would keep my current one-year-old and just see if the other mother and i can regularly keep in touch. Since the bonds have already been made it'd be tough just throwing the non-biological baby aside just because he/she wasn't yours. I've always wanted to adopt anyway. BUUT, my strong motherly instincts side would want my biological baby, because i wouldn't want he/she growing up thinking that i didn't want him/her.
